About Victory Lineup Private Limited

Victory Lineup Private Limited is the company behind Victory Lineup, a free-to-play Daily Fantasy Sports platform created by cricket lovers in India for cricket lovers in India. Our goal is simple: provide a safe, fair, and deeply engaging fantasy cricket experience that celebrates skill, analysis, and love for the game – not money.

We are headquartered in Mumbai and operate with a small, focused team of product thinkers, engineers, designers, cricket analysts, and compliance professionals who care about doing things the right way – especially in an evolving regulatory environment.

Built in India, for India

Victory Lineup is designed around Indian cricket culture, tournaments, and fans, with a strong focus on responsible, free-to-play fantasy sports.

Who we are

Victory Lineup Private Limited is a technology and sports entertainment company focused exclusively on skill-based, free-to-play fantasy sports experiences. Our flagship product, Victory Lineup, offers daily fantasy cricket contests where users create virtual teams based on real matches and compete on leaderboards – with no real money involved at any stage.

We are not a betting, wagering, or gambling company. We do not operate as a real-money gaming (RMG) platform. Instead, we intentionally stay in the free-to-play category and build features that reward cricket understanding, not financial risk.

Where we are based

Registered office:
Victory Lineup Private Limited
703 A Landsend Bldg, Lokhandwala Complex,
Andheri, 400053, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

From Mumbai, our team works remotely and on-site across different cities in India. Our focus is pan-India – reaching cricket fans nationwide, while respecting state-level restrictions where fantasy sports and online gaming regulations are more sensitive.

Why Victory Lineup is completely free to play

In India, the line between fantasy sports, online gaming, and gambling can be complex. Many fantasy platforms have historically focused on real money gaming – charging entry fees, enabling cash contests, and offering withdrawals. While those models appeal to some audiences, they also bring regulatory complexity and financial risk for users.

Victory Lineup takes a different approach. We intentionally operate as a free-to-play game of skill. That means:

  • No deposits: You never add money to a Victory Lineup account.
  • No entry fees: Every contest is free to join.
  • No cash prizes: We do not pay out or promise money.
  • No “real-world value” rewards: Badges and rankings are virtual only.

By remaining entirely free, we keep the experience focused on enjoyment, learning, and strategic thinking – not on chasing monetary gain. This choice also helps us maintain a clearer separation from gambling and RMG categories, aligning our platform more closely with skill-based, responsible entertainment.

We believe that fantasy sports can be deeply satisfying on its own, purely as a test of cricket knowledge, pattern recognition, and tactical thinking – and that’s the experience we want to offer.

Our journey so far

Victory Lineup was born from countless match-day conversations, whiteboard sessions, and late-night “what if” discussions among cricket-loving technologists. Here’s a glimpse of how the platform evolved from a simple idea into a full-fledged product.

1

The spark – “Fantasy should be about skill, not stakes”

The idea for Victory Lineup came when our founding team realised that many existing fantasy platforms were overly focused on money – deposits, jackpots, and payouts – and not enough on what makes fantasy sports beautiful: reading the game, spotting form trends, and constructing smart lineups.

We wanted to create a space where users could obsess over strategy without feeling pressure to wager or chase losses.

2

Prototype & internal testing

The team built an internal prototype: a stripped-down contest engine with basic scoring, manual contest creation, and simple leaderboards. Colleagues and friends in Mumbai and other cities helped test early versions, exposing bugs and suggesting improvements to scoring, UI, and team selection flows.

These iterations helped us refine the core gameplay loop and confirm that a free-only model could still feel exciting and competitive.

3

Public beta & feedback loop

We then opened a small, invite-only beta for a limited group of fantasy players. Their feedback influenced everything – from the structure of contests and the clarity of rules, to how we present scoring breakdowns and live leaderboards.

Many testers appreciated the absence of payment friction and the ability to learn fantasy without “real stakes,” confirming that our free-to-play approach resonated with our target audience.

4

Launch & ongoing evolution

With user input and careful internal review, we shaped the version of Victory Lineup you see today: a fully free platform with a clear focus on skill, fairness, and responsible enjoyment. The journey is ongoing – we continue to iterate, add new features, and refine the experience based on user feedback and best practices.

Going forward, we aim to introduce richer statistics, deeper contest formats, and more community features – while remaining true to our free-to-play and game-of-skill foundations.
